Angel of the North Wedding

Sir Anthony Gormley's massive steel sculpture Angel of the North stands on a hill on the edge of Gateshead, overlooking the Team Valley. Finished and unveiled in 1998, the once controversial statue quickly became one of the most beloved landmarks of the region and has been listed as one of the greatest 'Icons of England'.
