My World

Had a fantastic time at BBC Newcastle on Friday, talking to Chi Onwurah and Simon Logan about She's The One, International Women's Day and my hatred of the word 'bossy'. As always, they were incredibly friendly and supportive despite my being hilariously unprepared and a bit on the eccentric side - anyone who'd like to hear me waffle nonsensically about women whilst an MP and a BBC presenter listen pityingly should definitely check it out on iPlayer. The program also included a reading of Sophie Good's funny and moving piece on her mother's struggle with Motor Neurone Disease, which you can listen to here.
